Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Wisepage (the "Service"), operated by Wisepage ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the API you agree to them.

1. The Service

Wisepage provides an API and MCP server that fetch publicly accessible web pages on your behalf and return them as markdown, HTML, links, search results or structured data. The Service is in beta and features may change.

2. Your account and API keys

You are responsible for keeping your API keys secret and for all usage made with them. Tell us promptly at [email protected] if you believe a key has been compromised.

3. Acceptable use

You may use the Service only in compliance with applicable laws. You must not use it to:

• access content you are not authorised to access, or bypass logins, paywalls or technical access controls;
• collect personal data in violation of privacy laws such as the GDPR, or use data for spam, harassment or surveillance;
• infringe copyright or other rights in the content you retrieve;
• overload, attack or disrupt any website or the Service itself;
• resell raw access to the Service without our written permission.

You are responsible for how you use the content you retrieve. We may suspend accounts that break these rules, and we honour requests from site owners to stop fetching their domains.

4. Plans, credits and payment

Usage is measured in credits as described on our pricing page. Paid plans are monthly subscriptions that renew automatically until cancelled. Each billing period your balance is topped up to your plan's credit amount. Requests that fail are not charged.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Paddle's buyer terms apply to your purchase.

5. Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel at any time from the billing portal; your plan stays active until the end of the paid period. Refunds are described in our Refund Policy.

6. Availability and changes

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change or discontinue features and will give reasonable notice of material changes to paid plans.

7. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms. Sections 3, 7 and 9 survive termination.

9. General

We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version, and continued use means you accept the update. Questions: [email protected].
